Welcome!

I go by Tom Monson, but my given name is Thomas Nash Monson, and my friends call me Tom. So, feel free to call me Tom. There’s another Thomas Monson who was the President of the Morman Church, but that isn’t me.

About Me

I’ve been producing educational material since 1986. Initially, I set out to help small business owners promote their business but that led to producing all kinds of material including crime prevention, marketing education, drug education, violence prevention, and along the way some fun stuff like Bigfoot Chronicles and a few ghost stories.

I’m proud that my work has helped educate and inspire many people. Not bragging, but I’m an award-winning screenwriter, author, filmmaker, and publisher.

Saving Our Children Campaign

I’m involved now in a major effort to help educate youngsters about the dangers of drugs and substance abuse. The organization is SavingOurChildrenCampaign.com and you are welcome to join in the fight to protect our children from the deadly drugs that are now on the streets of almost every city and town in the United States and around the world.

Throughout my career, I’ve written and produced dozens of television shows, documentaries, and feature films. IMDB link for Thomas Nash Monson.

I’ve also written more than a dozen books, and ghost-written books and screenplays.

As far as my education, I’ve studied with greats like Syd Field, Michael Hague, and Chris Vogel to name just a few. Not to forget my Screenwriter’s Certificate from UCLA Extension and English major at Cal State University.

I’ve taken several ideas and single images and did everything needed to turn them into finished products and found distribution. I’ve been involved in every aspect of making and distributing movies and television shows.

Rounding my education and experience is the personal mentorship of great writers, producers, and directors. I believe this gives me an excellent perspective.

Saving Alpha

Saving Alpha is a book I wrote and published in 2023. The purpose was to help people understand:

First, what kind of a mess drugs are doing to our country? Sadly, I don’t think most people realize just how pervasive drugs are in our society and how it is getting much worse generation by generation. I have always asked, “I wonder what drugs are doing to our gene pool?”

Second, what we can do about it? Sadly, I have always hated the majority of news commentators, who report devastating events without reporting on solutions. I don’t think most people realize there is something we can do about it. That’s what this book is about.
